Every Loki blade placed by construction and by its published speed and stiffness, so you can see what changes when the fibre moves from deep inside the blade to just under the face.
The Loki blade range by construction
Where the fibre sits shapes the feel as much as which fibre it is. All-wood blades give the most feel. Inner fibre keeps a wood-like touch with extra power. Outer fibre is firmer and more direct. Each column lists the fastest blade first.
Speed and stiffness, side by side
Loki’s own figures on a 1–15 scale. Further right is faster, higher up is a stiffer, harder feel on impact. Select a dot, or pick a blade from the list, for the full figures.
The chart needs JavaScript. Every figure is in the table below.
Most of the carbon range sits between speed 12 and 14.6, so the chart starts near the slowest blade rather than at zero to keep those blades readable. Close dots really are close: a gap of 0.2 is a small difference in play.

Common questions
Where do these speed and stiffness figures come from?
They are Loki’s own manufacturer figures from the 2026 catalogue, on a 1–15 scale. They compare Loki blades with each other. Other brands rate on their own scales, so a Loki 13 is not the same as another brand’s 13.
What is the difference between an inner and an outer fibre blade?
An inner fibre blade has its fibre layers next to the core, under thicker wood. It keeps more wood feel and holds the ball a little longer, which suits looping from mid-distance. An outer fibre blade has the fibre just under the face veneer, which makes it firmer and more direct, suiting players who attack close to the table. The carbon fibre guide covers each fibre in detail.
Which Loki blade is the fastest?
On Loki’s own figures, the W81 Wei Shihao SZC is the fastest blade in the range, at 14.6 out of 15 (5 wood + 2 inner Super Zylon Carbon PBO). Faster is not automatically better. On Loki’s figures, higher speed comes with a stiffer feel, which leaves less margin on control shots.
Are Loki blades tournament legal?
Yes. Every Loki blade is built to the ITTF construction rules, which require at least 85% natural wood by thickness, so they are legal for league and tournament play.
All speed, stiffness and control figures are manufacturer specification from Loki’s 2026 catalogue. Weight is the manufacturer’s estimate and varies from blade to blade. To narrow by fibre, use Shop Blade by Composition, or see the Rubber Performance Matrix for what to put on it.
